AUSTIN (KXAN) — With temperatures plummeting Sunday and staying cooler through the early half of the week, the City of Austin's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management posted on social media earlier this weekend warming centers are open for those seeking shelter.All Austin Public Library branches and parks and recreation facilities will be open during normal business hours for those needing reprieve from the cold. GREEN BAY, Wis. — Everything was going right for the Vikings.After proving themselves against the San Francisco 49ers in primetime, the Vikings were well on their way to earning a very impressive win over the rival Green Bay Packers.It all came crashing down the moment star quarterback Kirk Cousins left the game with what appeared to be a significant injury. NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man has been arrested after reportedly violating an order of protection, according to police. Shawn Grady, 41, is facing multiple charges. On October 28 at 3:16 p.m., deputies of the Albany County Sheriff's Office responded to an emergency call for a disturbance at a home in New Scotland. Upon arrival, officers located a man outside the residence, who police identified as Grady. The investigation by police revealed there was an order of protection in place mandating that Grady stay away from the home. Police stated that Grady was also found to be in possession of a shotgun and had been convicted of a previous felony. Albany Police investigating Delaware Avenue shooting Grady was then taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Nearly 700 flights across airlines were delayed or canceled at Denver International Airport on Sunday.As of 2 p.m. Sunday, 647 flights had been delayed, and another 24 were canceled for weather-related reasons, according to data from the flight tracking site FlightAware.On Saturday, 910 flights were delayed and 88 were canceled.Affected airlines include SkyWest, United, Southwest, Frontier, Mesa, Delta, Southern Airways Express, JetBlue, Key Lime Air, CommuteAir, American Airlines, Volaris and Air Canada.Regional airline SkyWest, the airline that operates United Express, had the most cancelations Sunday with 11 flights canceled. Firefighters are working to extinguish a brush fire in Ventura County. According to a social media post from the Ventura County Sheriff, the brush fire is located in an open field next to the Home Depot on Ventura Boulevard in Camarillo. 110 Freeway closed to car traffic for second time in history for ArroyoFest "The fire is presently estimated at five acres and is mostly surrounded by roads," Ventura County emergency officials said. The Israeli military intensified airstrikes in Gaza including near its largest hospital, and another hospital was damaged by bombardment close by. Thousands of people desperate for food and basic items broke into aid warehouses in the besieged enclave. Internet and phone connectivity were restored for many people on Sunday after Israeli strikes had knocked out most communications in the territory late Friday. SANTA CLARA — Lenny Moore has some company in the record books.Christian McCaffrey scored a touchdown in his 17th straight game including playoffs Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals at Levi’s Stadium.With 3:19 left in the first quarter, McCaffrey scored on a 2-yard run to camp a 75-yard drive in eight plays, taking 4:52 off the clock and tying the score 7-7.McCaffrey came in one touchdown behind Moore after scoring two touchdowns in last week’s 22-17 road loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In 21 games including the one in each of the 49ers’ three playoff games last season, McCaffrey came having scored 21 touchdowns. He arrived on Oct. 20 of last season.The streak began on Dec. 4 of last season, catching a 3-yard pass from Brock Purdy in a 33-17 win over MIami.
